C47 – DIPLOMA IN CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY (BUILDING INFORMATION MODELLING)
COURSE INTRODUCTION
This program aims to provide knowledge and technical training in the field of Building Information Modelling (BIM). It is an initiative to produce quality graduates who are ready to meet industry needs in terms of technical skills, personality, and professionalism. Among the courses offered in this program are mechanical and electrical technology, construction technology, green technology and the environment, as well as practical training on BIM software. Graduates of this program will become BIM Modellers capable of developing and performing analysis on models according to industry specifications, as well as updating “Families” and models according to set requirements. Graduates will also be able to prepare three-dimensional (3D) model presentations for clients during the conceptual design approval process and generate quantities from models provided by each discipline.

SPM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
PASS SPM or equivalent with three (3) Credits in the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- Any one (1) subject from the Science Group / Vocational & Technology Group / Vocational Subjects Group (MPV) / Vocational Stream Subjects Group (MPAV)
- Any one (1) other subject
- PASS English
STPM GRADUATES
- PASS STPM with at least Grade C (GP 2.0) in any one (1) subject
STAM GRADUATES
- PASS STAM with a minimum rank of Maqbul
OTHER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
GRADUATES OF MARA SKILLS INSTITUTES (IKM) / PUBLIC OR PRIVATE SKILLS TRAINING INSTITUTES (ILKA/ILKS)
- PASS Certificate in Engineering / Engineering Technology / Profession / Technology in a related field with a CGPA ≥ 2.50
- OR PASS Certificate in Engineering / Engineering Technology / Profession / Technology in a related field with 2.0 ≤ CGPA < 2.50 and at least 6 months of work experience in a related field
MALAYSIAN SKILLS CERTIFICATE (SKM) GRADUATES
- PASS Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 3 in a recognized related field or equivalent
MALAYSIAN VOCATIONAL CERTIFICATE (SVM) GRADUATES
- Academic Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.33 or higher
- Credit in Bahasa Melayu (SVM Code 1104)
- Vocational CGPA of 3.67 or higher
- Competent in all vocational modules
