COURSE INTRODUCTION
This program is offered at the MARA Skills Institute (IKM) Alor Setar for the “Art & Design” cluster. The study period is 24 months (2 years) for a modular/flexible program. This program aims to produce entrepreneurs in the field of fabrics: from fabric design/printing to the production of fabric products such as t-shirts. The approach is a combination of theory and practice — students will learn aspects of design + entrepreneurship + production practice.

GRADUATES OF MARA SKILLS INSTITUTES (IKM) / PUBLIC OR PRIVATE SKILLS TRAINING INSTITUTES (ILKA/ILKS) / PUBLIC OR PRIVATE HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS (IPTA/IPTS)
- PASS at least a Certificate in a related field from IKM/GIAT MARA or any ILKA/ILKS or IPTA/IPTS
- Pass the Aptitude Test (Physical Test), interview and practical test
OTHER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- MALAYSIAN SKILLS CERTIFICATE (SKM) GRADUATES
- PASS Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 2 in a related field that is recognized or equivalent
- OR at least 2 years of experience in a related field
- Pass the Aptitude Test (Physical Test), interview and practical test
