COURSE INTRODUCTION
The Diploma in Upholstery Techno-Entrepreneurship (UTU) is a unique programme offered by the MARA Skills Institute (IKM) Sungai Petani, Kedah. This programme combines technical skills in the field of sewing and upholstery manufacturing with entrepreneurial elements to produce young entrepreneurs in the furniture industry.

GRADUATES OF MARA SKILLS INSTITUTES (IKM) / PUBLIC OR PRIVATE SKILLS TRAINING INSTITUTES (ILKA/ILKS) / PUBLIC OR PRIVATE HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS (IPTA/IPTS)
- PASS at least a Certificate in a related field from IKM/GIAT MARA or any ILKA/ILKS or IPTA/IPTS
- Pass the Aptitude Test (Physical Test), interview and practical test
OTHER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- MALAYSIAN SKILLS CERTIFICATE (SKM) GRADUATES
- PASS Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 2 in a related field that is recognized or equivalent
- OR at least 2 years of experience in a related field
- Pass the Aptitude Test (Physical Test), interview and practical test
