COURSE INTRODUCTION

This program is offered in the Biotechnology / Herbal cluster at institutions such as KKTMLenggong. Duration of study: 36 months (3 years) full-time. This program provides exposure to: identification of herbal active ingredients, processing of natural ingredients, development of herbal products, quality control / product analysis as well as technical aspects related to the herbal and natural products industry.

SPM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Pass SPM or equivalent with at least three (3) Credits in the following subjects:

  1. Chemistry / Biology / Physics / Science

  2. Mathematics

  3. Any one (1) other subject

  4. PASS English

STPM GRADUATES

• Pass with at least Grade C (GP 2.0) in any one (1) subject

STAM GRADUATES

• Pass with a minimum rank of Maqbul

OTHER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• GRADUATES OF MARA SKILLS INSTITUTES (IKM) / PUBLIC OR PRIVATE SKILLS TRAINING INSTITUTES (ILKA/ILKS)
  1. Pass Certificate in Engineering / Engineering Technology / Profession / Technology in a related field with CGPA ≥ 2.50
  2. OR Pass with 2.0 ≤ CGPA < 2.50 and at least 6 months of work experience in a related field

  1. Pass SKM Level 3 in a recognized related field or equivalent
