E69 – DIPLOMA OF COMPETENCY IN ELECTRICAL (POWER)
COURSE INTRODUCTION
This programme offers theoretical and practical learning and training in the field of electricity and is conducted in collaboration between MARA and the Malaysian Energy Commission. Students who successfully complete it will be awarded by MARA a Diploma in Electrical Competence and a Certificate of Competence as an Electrical Machinery Caretaker (Low Voltage System Without Power Station). The knowledge and training learned covers manual and computerized (AutoCAD) electrical engineering drawings, practical electrical wiring and wiring as well as single and three-phase electrical installations, operating principles and repairing electrical circuits, whether analytical or digital circuits, understanding the flow, transmission and distribution of electrical energy, the concept of transformers and commercial use of electric motors as well as understanding and being able to perform electrical work involving main switchboards, underground cables and overhead lines.

SPM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Pass SPM with at least two (2) Credits in the following:
One (1) subject from Mathematics / Science Group / Vocational & Technology Group / Vocational Subjects (MPV) / Vocational Stream Subjects (MPAV)
One (1) other subject
Must not be color blind
OTHER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
MALAYSIAN SKILLS CERTIFICATE (SKM) GRADUATES
- Pass SKM Level 2 in a recognized related field or equivalent, with a minimum qualification of completing Form 5 at a government-aided school
- OR Pass the Malaysian Vocational Certificate (SVM) in a related field
- Must not be color blind
