COURSE INTRODUCTION

This program has been accepted by Suruhanjaya Tenaga. Students who graduate from the training will be awarded the Diploma of Electrical Competence (A1 Low Voltage Lantern Guard) and eligible for the Low Voltage Guard Competency examination with A1 by Suruhanjaya Tenaga. This program offers learning and practice based on theory and practice. Learning and training includes making supervision, mentoring, improving work, holding, testing the system and the supply of electrical equipment including top-line works and low-voltage underground cables.

GRADUATES OF MARA SKILLS INSTITUTES (IKM) / PUBLIC OR PRIVATE SKILLS TRAINING INSTITUTES (ILKA/ILKS)

• Pass Certificate in Engineering / Engineering Technology / Technology in a related field with CGPA ≥ 2.00
• OR A graduate of the Diploma in Electrical Competency (Wireman PW4) / Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology (Domestic and Industrial) from IKM/KKTM
• OR Possess a Wireman Competency Certificate from the Energy Commission
• Must not be color blind

* Priority will be given to candidates who hold a Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 3 in a related field
