COURSE INTRODUCTION

This programme has been recognised by the Energy Commission. Students who successfully complete the training will be awarded a Diploma in Electrical Competence (PW4 Wireman) and are eligible to sit for the Three Phase Wireman Competence (PW3) or Three Phase Wireman with Testing Endorsement (PW4) examination by the Energy Commission. This programme offers theoretical and practical learning and training. Learning and training covers wiring work, testing installations, repairing wiring and electrical tools/apparatus and supervision.

SPM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Pass SPM with at least two (2) Credits in any subject
• Pass in Mathematics
• Pass in one subject from the Science / Vocational & Technology / Vocational Subjects (MPV) / Vocational Stream Subjects (MPAV) groups
• Must not be color blind

MALAYSIAN VOCATIONAL CERTIFICATE (SVM) REQUIREMENTS

• Academic Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) ≥ 3.33
• Credit in Bahasa Melayu (SVM Code 1104)
• Vocational CGPA ≥ 3.67
• Competent in all vocational modules
• Must not be color blind
