COURSE INTRODUCTION

The objective of this program is to produce graduates who are knowledgeable and efficient in automotive technology, with technical skills to support engineers and other professionals involved in development, manufacturing, operational testing, inspection, and maintenance of automotive systems. Students are exposed to relevant knowledge, as well as practical and technical skills in diagnosing, repairing, and analyzing automotive technology systems. Students are also educated in competent leadership qualities, professionalism, and lifelong learning in line with the latest changes in automotive technology. Additionally, students will be exposed to elements of entrepreneurship to encourage and enhance their career prospects upon graduation.

• GRADUATES OF MARA SKILLS INSTITUTES (IKM) / PUBLIC OR PRIVATE SKILLS TRAINING INSTITUTES (ILKA/ILKS)

  1. PASS Certificate in Engineering / Engineering Technology / Technology in a related field with a CGPA ≥ 2.00

• MALAYSIAN SKILLS CERTIFICATE (SKM) GRADUATES

  1. PASS Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 2 in a recognized related field or equivalent

• MALAYSIAN VOCATIONAL CERTIFICATE (SVM) GRADUATES

  1. Academic Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00 or higher
  2. Credit in Bahasa Melayu (SVM Code 1104)
  3. Vocational CGPA of 2.67 or higher
  4. Competent in all vocational modules
