COURSE INTRODUCTION

This programme offers theoretical and practical learning and training in the field of electricity and is conducted in collaboration between MARA and the Malaysian Energy Commission. Students who successfully complete it will be awarded a MARA Diploma in Engineering Technology and a Certificate of Competence as a Certified Wireman. This programme emphasizes technical knowledge and skills training for students in the field of electrical maintenance services including electrical wiring, fire prevention and building safety systems, service systems and building automation systems.

SPM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Pass SPM or its equivalent with the following:

  1. One (1) Credit in any subject

  2. Pass in Bahasa Melayu

  3. Pass in at least one (1) subject from the following groups Science / Additional Science / Applied Science / Physics / Chemistry / Electrical & Electronic Engineering Studies / Domestic Wiring / Servicing of Electrical & Electronic Equipment / Electrical Technology / Installation / Electrical Control / Geometric & Electrical Drawing

  4. Must not be color blind
