COURSE INTRODUCTION

This program offers skill-based training in both theory and practice, covering the maintenance and repair of marine machinery engines. The training scope includes overhauling petrol and diesel engines, repairing transmission systems, electrical & electronics, and refrigeration and air conditioning systems. It also covers workshop tasks such as filing, grinding, cutting, brazing, threading, and welding. Students will also be exposed to elements of entrepreneurship and are encouraged to become technical entrepreneurs upon graduation.

SPM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• PASS SPM or equivalent with at least:

  1. One (1) Credit in any subject
  2. A Pass in Mathematics

  1. PASS Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 2 in a recognized related field or equivalent
