COURSE INTRODUCTION

This program will provide students with technical knowledge and practical skills in the machining-based manufacturing industry. Students will learn conventional and non-conventional machining methods such as CNC. Students will use engineering software to design products and then plan the manufacturing processes required for product production. In addition to technical skills, students are also given emphasis on soft skills and entrepreneurship which are important criteria in the field of employment or becoming a technopreneur.

SPM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• PASS SPM with two (2) Credits in any subject

  1. PASS Certificate in Engineering / Engineering Technology / Profession / Technology in a related field with a CGPA ≥ 2.00

  1. PASS Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 2 in a recognized related field or equivalent
• MALAYSIAN VOCATIONAL CERTIFICATE (SVM) GRADUATES
  
  1. Academic Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) ≥ 2.00
  2. Credit in Bahasa Melayu (SVM Code 1104)
  3. Vocational CGPA ≥ 2.67
  4. Competent in all vocational modules
