COURSE INTRODUCTION

This program offers theory-based and practical skill training in the field of Foundry Technology. The curriculum covers the creation of various pattern types based on technical design drawings and the production of molds using sand or other compounds. Graduates will also gain proficiency in operating various types of furnaces and mastering metal melting methods.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Age 16 – 45 years old

• PASS Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 2 in a recognized related field or equivalent

• OR Have completed at least Form 3 with a pass in PMR / PT3 / Form 3 Classroom Assessment (PBD), achieving at least level 3 (TP3) for English, Science, and Mathematics

• OR Possess a GIATMARA Professional Certificate / Competency or Professional Certificate from any agency or educational institution (IPTA/IPTS/ILKA/ILKS) in a related field
