COURSE INTRODUCTION

This program offers theoretical and practical training in the field of metal & non-metal finishing such as polishing, copper, nickel, chrome, silver and gold plating. Students are also exposed to the ability to prepare, analyze, treat plating chemicals and treat industrial wastewater.

• PASS SPM with two (2) Credits in any subject

  1. PASS Certificate in Engineering / Engineering Technology / Profession / Technology in a related field with a CGPA ≥ 2.00
• MALAYSIAN SKILLS CERTIFICATE (SKM) GRADUATES
  
  1. PASS Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 2 in a recognized related field or equivalent
• MALAYSIAN VOCATIONAL CERTIFICATE (SVM) GRADUATES
  
  1. Academic Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) ≥ 2.00
  2. Credit in Bahasa Melayu (SVM Code 1104)
  3. Vocational CGPA ≥ 2.67
  4. Competent in all vocational modules
