COURSE INTRODUCTION

This program aims to produce skilled workers who have knowledge and expertise in the field of data security. This field is one of the fields that provides job opportunities and is in high demand from the industry in line with the development of the 4.0 industrial revolution. Students will be equipped with skills in the field of fiber optics and network computer systems, especially involving Network Security and Digital Forensics for the purpose of Cyber ​​protection.

SPM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Pass SPM or equivalent with at least three (3) Credits in the following subjects:
  1. Mathematics
  2. One (1) subject from the Science / Vocational & Technology / Vocational Subjects (MPV) / Vocational Stream Subjects (MPAV) groups
  3. One (1) other subject
  4. Pass in English
  5. Must not be color blind

STPM GRADUATES

• Pass with at least Grade C (GP 2.0) in any one (1) subject
• Must not be color blind

STAM GRADUATES

• Pass with a minimum rank of Maqbul
• Must not be color blind

OTHER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• GRADUATES OF MARA SKILLS INSTITUTES (IKM) / PUBLIC OR PRIVATE SKILLS TRAINING INSTITUTES (ILKA/ILKS)
  1. Pass Certificate in Engineering / Engineering Technology / Profession / Technology in a related field with CGPA ≥ 2.50
  2. OR Pass with 2.0 ≤ CGPA < 2.50 and at least 6 months of work experience in a related field
  3. Must not be color blind

  1. Pass SKM Level 3 in a recognized related field or equivalent

  2. Credit in Bahasa Melayu (SVM Code 1104)
  3. Vocational CGPA ≥ 3.67
  4. Competent in all vocational modules
