MQA: Malaysian higher education meets international standards
The Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) has affirmed that the quality of Malaysia’s higher education system remains robustly aligned with rigorous international standards, stating it should not be conflated with ongoing concerns over graduate employability. While the agency continues to safeguard institutional quality through the Malaysian Qualifications Framework, it notes that securing employment relies heavily on separate external factors, such as individual student initiative, soft skills, and dynamic job market demands, rather than the intrinsic value of the degrees awarded.
