elementor - v3.12.1 - 02-04-2023 *\/\n.elementor-widget-text-editor.elementor-drop-cap-view-stacked .elementor-drop-cap{background-color:#69727d;color:#fff}.elementor-widget-text-editor.elementor-drop-cap-view-framed .elementor-drop-cap{color:#69727d;border:3px solid;background-color:transparent}.elementor-widget-text-editor:not(.elementor-drop-cap-view-default) .elementor-drop-cap{margin-top:8px}.elementor-widget-text-editor:not(.elementor-drop-cap-view-default) .elementor-drop-cap-letter{width:1em;height:1em}.elementor-widget-text-editor .elementor-drop-cap{float:left;text-align:center;line-height:1;font-size:50px}.elementor-widget-text-editor .elementor-drop-cap-letter{display:inline-block}<\/style>\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"py-1.5 mb-4 text-lg font-bitter\"><address class=\"location-block\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">SHAH ALAM: Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd (Modenas) continues to expand opportunities for Malaysians to develop technical and vocational education and training (TVET) skills in electric vehicle (EV) technology through its partnership with GiatMara Malaysia.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Through its Electric Motorcycle Industry Specialisation Programme, the collaboration is helping more trainees gain industry-relevant EV skills through technical training, knowledge transfer and hands-on learning in real operating environments.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The initiative reflects Modenas&#8217; commitment to support TVET while developing skilled talent for Malaysia&#8217;s growing electric mobility sector, particularly for electric two-wheelers.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Unlike conventional classroom-based training, the programme gives trainees direct exposure to technologies and practices used in the industry.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Participants learn about electric motorcycle systems, diagnostics, maintenance procedures, troubleshooting and safety requirements while gaining insights into the demands of a commercial operating environment.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Modenas chief executive officer Roslan Roskan said the push for electric mobility in Malaysia requires more than just the introduction of new models.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;It must be supported by a workforce with the right skills and technical capabilities to maintain and support these technologies.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;Through our collaboration with GiatMara, we are creating opportunities for trainees to gain practical industry experience and develop skills that will become increasingly important as Malaysia&#8217;s EV ecosystem continues to grow,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A key component of the programme is the establishment of authorised Modenas service centres at selected GiatMara institutions.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The facilities will not only serve as service hubs for the Modenas MEV-1 electric motorcycle fleet used by Pos Malaysia, but also become practical training platforms where trainees and instructors can apply their knowledge in real-world settings.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The first Modenas Service Plus Centre was recently launched at the GiatMara Prima Melor centre in Kelantan.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">While supporting the maintenance of Pos Malaysia&#8217;s e-bike fleet in Kelantan, the centre will also provide trainees with hands-on experience in inspections, diagnostics, servicing, repairs and technical support.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Roslan said the programme helps bridge the gap between training and employment by exposing trainees to actual industry practices and standards.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;The value of the programme lies in giving trainees exposure to motorcycles operating in daily commercial environments.
