Para pelajar program ini akan mempelajari asas komponen perpaipan, pelbagai kod dan standard. Para pelajar juga turut mempelajari asas susun atur loji, analisis tegasan paip, equipment piping, prinsip dan prosidur untuk merekabentuk loji. Latihan amali berasaskan contoh projek sebenar digunakan di dalam program ini. Selain itu, para pelajar didedahkan dengan peranan dan tanggungjawab seorang pereka perpaipan dalam melaksanakan projek rekabentuk perpaipan. Students in this program will learn the basics of piping components, various codes and standards. Students also learn the basics of plant layout, pipe stress analysis, piping equipment, principles and procedures for designing plants. Practical training based on real project examples is used in this program. In addition, students are exposed to the role and responsibilities of a piping designer in implementing piping design projects. In addition, students have the opportunity to apply all their knowledge of piping design principles and standards in their final year project.
