In particular, students will understand the processes of designing models and molds, methods of preparing ceramic materials, product fabrication, drying and firing processes, finishing and decoration methods, and analyze all problems that arise in determining the quality of ceramic processing and products. The priority of learning is on the aspect of the ceramic manufacturing process in a hands-on manner with an emphasis on the concept of production based education.
